About Elijah Golden

Elijah Golden began recording music at the tender age of nine, and that early passion has only grown stronger. A third-generation artist, he blends blue-eyed soul, country roots, and the timeless groove of the Muscle Shoals sound. With a voice that’s both raw and reflective, Elijah brings a fresh yet familiar energy to Southern soul music—anchored in family, faith, and the stories that shape us.

A Spring 2025 graduate of the prestigious Ivy League school Brown University, Elijah balances academic excellence with a lifelong dedication to music. Born into music royalty, he is the grandson of William Lee Golden (The Oak Ridge Boys) and son of Chris Golden, the ICMA’s 2022 Entertainer of the Year. As a core member of the family band, William Lee Golden and the Goldens, Elijah has toured the country and graced legendary stages like the Grand Ole Opry—earning standing ovations for his stirring renditions of gospel and soul classics. In 2024, he made his official Grand Ole Opry debut, marking a milestone in a career that started in childhood.

Now stepping into the spotlight with his debut solo project, It’s About Time (due Fall 2025), Elijah offers a bold, heartfelt introduction to his own artistry. His lead single, “Dark End of the Street”—a powerful duet with fellow third-generation artist Texas Martin—drops in September 2025, accompanied by a cinematic music video. Produced by Chris Golden, the track is soaked in rich harmonies and emotional weight, echoing the classic Southern soul of artists like Percy Sledge, Dan Penn, and early Boz Scaggs.

A true multi-instrumentalist, Elijah crafts songs that feel both lived-in and alive. His sound is as much Sunday morning as it is Saturday night—where country storytelling meets Southern soul swagger.

With It’s About Time, Elijah Golden invites listeners into a sound that spans generations but speaks in his own voice—honest, soulful, and steeped in the roots of American music.
